ANGIE ALLENDORF PRICE, CO-OWNER

Angie Allendorf Price began dancing at the age of three and has taught dance in the Topeka area for over 35 years. In addition to teaching studio dance, she has led and taught at numerous dance camps and workshops in the state of Kansas throughout her career.

​

Angie is a graduate of Washburn University with degrees in music, dance, and computer information systems. She coached the 5-time national champion Washburn University Dancing Blues for 33 years, and taught for the WU Dept. of Kinesiology.

​

In addition to teaching and coaching, Angie has choreographed over 100 musical theater productions for schools, organizations, and community theaters in northeast Kansas.

JOSIE PRICE DEASE, CO-OWNER, INFINITY DANCE COMPANY DIRECTOR

Josie Price Dease started dancing at 2 years old and hasn't stopped since! She has been teaching dance since 2007 to dancers of all ages. She specializes in musical theatre, tap, contemporary and jazz, and LOVES to teach ballet.

​

Josie attended Washburn University where she was a member of the Dancing Blues (captain, 2011-2013) and was a member of the 2013 American Dance/Drill Team Div. II National Championship team.

​

She graduated from WU with a BA in Vocal Music in 2013, and a BA in Elementary Education in 2016. She earned her MS in Early Childhood Education from Emporia State University in 2018. Josie is a early childhood special education teacher in the Seaman School District. She is a former Head Dance Coach at Seaman High School, where she oversaw both the Vikettes Dance Team and the Seaman High School Auxiliary Dance Team for 7 years. She led that team to a national championship in 2015.

​

In addition to coaching and teaching for USD 345, Josie is a freelance choreographer for universities and other dance groups across the Midwest. Josie's choreography has earned accolades and awards both regionally and nationally. She has choreographed numerous National Championship winning routines for the WU Dancing Blues and Kansas State Championship winning routines for Roseville High School. 

MICHAELA TROBOUGH, INFINITY DANCE COMPANY ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

 

Michaela Trobough started dance when she was 3 years old, and has continued in the dance world dancing and teaching since then. She has assisted and taught for different classes and camps for a total of 11 years for various different age groups. 

​

She graduated from Seaman High School in 2014, where she was on the Vikettes Dance Team, as well as the Auxiliary Dance Team. After high school, Michaela went on to dance in college as a Firestarter at Allen Community College, where she was also on their Cheer Team. After graduating from ACC in 2016, she came back to Topeka to continue dancing as a Dancing Blue at Washburn University. During her time at WU she and the Dancing Blues received 3 National Champion titles from the American Dance/Drill Team Collegiate Championship in 2017, 2018, and 2019. She graduated from WU in May of 2019 with a B.A. in Mathematics and a Minor in Criminal Justice.

Michaela started her coaching career as the Assistant Dance Coach at Seaman High School in 2016. Where she helped Josie Dease oversee both the Vikettes Dance Team and the Seaman High School Auxiliary Dance Team for 3 years. She then spent a year as the Assistant Cheer/Dance Coach at Neosho County Community College during the 2019-2020 season. And then was the head coach of the Washburn University Dancing Blues from 2020-2022.

 

In addition to coaching and teaching, Michaela is a freelance choreographer for universities and high schools in the surrounding areas.

ELLA PRENGEL, INSTRUCTOR AND COMPANY CHOREOGRAPHER/INSTRUCTOR

Ella Prengel began dancing at the age of 10, and has had a passion for it that has grown ever since. She has taught and assisted at Infinity for the last two years.

 

Ella graduated from Seaman High School in 2020 where she was a member of the Vikettes Dance Team for all four years. While in high school, she was also a part of the Infinity Dance Company for its first two seasons where she competed and attended regional competitions and conventions. Ella now attends Washburn University and is in her third year at WU, as well as a third year member of the Dancing Blues Dance Team and serving as a co-captain.

 

Ella is continuing her education at Washburn University toward receiving her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Art Education. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2025. 

MARIA GRIMES, INSTRUCTOR

Maria Grimes began dancing at the age of 3 and it quickly became a forever love. Maria was an assistant teacher throughout high school. This will be her first year as an instructor. 

 

Maria graduated from Seaman High School in 2017, where she was a part of the Vikettes dance team all four years and was a captain for the 2016-2017 season. She was also a part of the National Championship team in 2015. After graduation, she went to Kansas State University where she was a part of her sorority’s competitive dance team for 3 years. 

 

Maria graduated from K-State in 2021 with her BA in Human Development and Family Science with minors in Spanish and Conflict Analysis and Trauma Studies. Currently she is attending K-State in pursuit of a Master’s degree in Family and Community services while substitute teaching in the Seaman school district.

KYRA JANTZEN, INSTRUCTOR

Kyra Jantzen started dancing when she was 3 years old, training in many styles of dance for 15 years and dancing competitively at Infinity Dance Studio for 5 years. She began assisting classes at Infinity at the age of 16 and served as the lead assistant teacher her senior year of high school, often subbing dance classes at Infinity. 

Kyra graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 2023 where she was highly involved in clubs and activities. She is currently attending Washburn University pursuing a major in Environmental Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Leadership. 



 

SONDRA OWINGS-PRIEST, INSTRUCTOR AND COMPANY ASSISTANT


Sondra Owings-Priest began dancing at age 4 and has loved it ever since. Sondra danced at Studio 1 Dance Center and started dancing competitively at age 12. 

Sondra graduated from Royal Valley High School in 2022, where she was a member of the Royal Vallet Dance Team for all 4 years (captain 2020-2022). After high school, she attended Allen Community College for 1 year and was a member of the Firestarters Dance Team and Cheer Team. Sondra transferred to Washburn University in the Fall and is continuing her education toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She hopes to graduate in the Spring of 2026.
